G8GNI
Amateur Radio Station

I collect vintage QSL cards, so if you have any you wish to dispose of, please let me know.

To the right are a series of 'how to' articles that can be downloaded. They are all in pdf format.

You can click on the 'Films' button above to find films that have referenced amateur radio in some way.

I have been interested in radio since I was a small child, becoming licensed as a teenager in 1972 with the call sign G8GNI. When the 5 wpm Morse test came along I obtained the call sign M5AEX. I also hold the US Amateur Extra class callsign AC8HT.

Over the years my interests have included VHF / UHF, amateur satellites, weather satellites and construction. My main interests are HF, mainly datamodes although i do some VHF / UHF work but am seriously limited by location and aerials that have to be kept low to the ground. I enjoy contests - especially datamodes - DXCC hunting, awards and QSLing.
